French or German 1-2-1 lessons: from £24.50 p.h.
1-2-1 lessons for KS1 and KS2 children: £20 for 45-minutes or £16 for 30-minutes.
French or German group lessons: from £13 p.h.
Group lessons for KS1 and KS2 children: £12 for 45-minutes or £9 for 30-minutes.
All prices are per student.
Discounts:
• for the first hour (or KS1-KS2 lesson)
• on block bookings of 8 hours or more
• for couples
• students from the same family
• university students presenting a valid student card
Travel charges apply for lessons taking place outside my home.

Online Conversation French Lessons:
£8 for 15 minutes (minimum charge)
£12.50 for 30 minutes
£18.50 for 45 minutes
£23 for 60 minutes
Online Specific French or German Lessons:
£8.50 for 15 minutes (minimum charge)
£15 for 30 minutes
£20 for 45 minutes
£25 for 60 minutes
Discounts:

• on block bookings of 8 hours or more (60-minute lessons only)
• university students presenting a valid student card
Payment:
Lessons can be booked on a 'Pay As You Go', in blocks or on an ad hoc basis. Please note that booking lessons on a ‘Pay As You Go’ basis does not guarantee you to keep the same slot(s) every week.
I accept payment by cash, bank transfer, cheque and PayPal. Payment by PayPal* is subject to a charge of 4.5% for payment under £100.
Due to an increase in no-payments and no-shows, all lessons are pre-paid. The booking(s) will be confirmed when I have received the payment (cash, bank transfer or PayPal*) or when the cheque has been cleared by my bank.

I offer two levels of services in English and French:
• Basic: proofreading
• Advanced: copy-editing
Because each document is unique in the amount of work required, I need to see your document before I can give you a quote. The rate is based on the:
- language (English or French),
- complexity of the text,
- author’s writing skills,
- author’s proficiency in English/French,
- legibility of the document (e.g. a higher rate will be applied to a handwritten document that is not very legible),
- and deadline.
My rates are normally calculated per word (minimum charge of 1,000 words) but I am also happy to negotiate an hourly rate or a set price for large volume of work. Reduced rate for documents over 5,000 words.
Payment: % of the total fee is due in advance upon acceptance of the quote. No work will be started until I receive the payment. I will notify you of the completion of the work and send you an invoice for the remaining balance. The balance will be due before I can release the completed work. I will email you the finished work at no extra cost. When a hard copy is required, consumables costs (i.e. paper, ink, envelope and postage) will be added to the price. The fee is not refundable but I am happy to correct, free of charge, any errors left in the final document if notified within 5 working days of the work delivered to you.

- quality of the source document (e.g. legible handwriting, messy manuscript, poor audio document…),
- number of speakers (for audio/video documents),
- and deadline.
Transcription rates
My charges are calculated per recorded audio/video minute. There is a minimum charge of 15 minutes for audio and video recordings. Verbatim transcription (i.e. omitting the ‘ums’, ‘errs’, ‘you knows’, ‘kind of’, ‘sort of’, repetitions due to hesitation, laughs, coughs, etc.) is not included but can be done upon request. Please add 25p/minute for a verbatim transcription.
Copy Typing rates
My charges are calculated per 1,000 words. There’s a minimum charge of £10.

PayPal allows you to pay by debit/credit card. It is the quickest and most secured online payment method. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can visit www.paypal.com to set up one. You will receive a payment request from PayPal by email. Follow the link on the email to make your payment. Once the payment is received you will receive another email from PayPal confirming that your payment has been successful. I will also confirm receipt of your payment and confirm the lesson(s) or inform you that I can start to work on your document or release the completed document.
